Worker Rescued At Jenna Concrete Plant

BRONX RIVER, Bronx, New York– An Construction Worker at Jenna Concrete Plant is being treated at an local hospital after being reacued by FDNY Members. FDNY Officials recieved a call just after 10:30 AM for a worker who had fallen. When members arrived on scene they found an worker down a 6 foot hole and unconscious. FDNY Requested an Major Tech Rescue assignment meaning multiple specialized rescue crews and equipment would be needed. The worker was removed in serious condition and transported by Rescue Medics an hour later. The investigation into what exaclty caused the worker to be trapped is underway.
