NYPD And Community Mourn The Loss Of An Detective Killed In The Line Of Duty

RICHMOND HILL, Queens, New York– NYPD and Community mourn the loss of a Veteran Detective  after he was killed doing what he had a passion for doing. NYPD Officers In Queens along with an Sargent And Detective Simonsen responded to an armed robbery at an T-Mobile. When they arrived on scene of the armed robbery a male pointed a fake gun at the responding officers forcing officers to open fire. Tragedy struck as one of those shots would hit Dt. Simonsen in the chest in a horrible case of Friendly fire. Christopher Ransom a career criminal known to the department for multiple arrests including impersonation and fraud was the suspect and is being charged with murder because his actions led to the death of DT. Simsonsen at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York
